Biminis Without The Clutter

Designed for Australian conditions

Many anglers and boaties are frustrated with the design of traditional biminis with poles, stays, ropes and straps obstructing the view and getting in the road of most water based activities through the lack of access. Using years of know-how and experience the KingFisher Bimini was dreamt up, designed and engineered for the testing Australian conditions.

Unobstructed Views

The unique A frame design allows for an almost unobstructed 360° view as well as making access around the outside of the boat easy for a multitude of activities. From bait fishing to sight casting the KingFisher allows all elements of fishing to happen almost unrestricted in the shade. Other activities like crabbing and cast netting for bait or prawns are possible while keeping cool.

Access

Getting on or off the boat from a jetty or even the water is easy and unhindered unlike traditional biminis. The two uprights are only 50cm apart, with access to the rest of both sides of the boat completely open!

Why Choose KingFisher Bimini

Traditional Biminis often get in the way with poles, ropes and straps. The KingFisher Bimini takes a new approach with an A-frame design that gives you clear access around the boat, strong aluminium construction for durability, and quick DIY setup. Built for Australian waters, it’s the canopy that makes boating simpler and more enjoyable.

Thicker, Stronger Tubing

The aluminium tubing in the KingFisher is thicker and stronger than traditional biminis and was specifically designed for the KingFisher.

Reinforced At Stress Points

It has an outer piece that you can see but in areas that have higher stress, like the main bow and bends, you get reinforced double thickness up to nearly 6mm of aluminium on each side of the tube. The inner piece also interlocks into the outer piece offering even more strength and stability to all joints.

Strength At Speed & Mounting

Together this provides the core strength to be able to operate at high speeds without any additional stays, ropes or straps. The brackets will need to be mounted 50cm apart, centre to centre.

Fabric Performance

The material used in the bimini cover will withstand intense UV exposure over an extended period of time, it has high mould and mildew resistance, and it has excellent tear and abrasion resistance.

Colour & Heat

Our testing has shown there is negligible difference in the temperature underneath a bimini made of light or dark colours however the charcoal colour will maintain its ‘new’ look for longer.
